What kind of people join the London Vampyre Group?

Members of the LVG come form all walks of life and all races and orientations. To show what an interesting bunch of people there are amongst the membership, we have some profiles, written by members themselves at Lvg member profiles.

We are a club for enthusiasts of the whole "vampyre" genre and bring together those individuals who are fascinated by all forms of the subject, or even those who simply like to dress up. Here you can meet like minded souls and you can indulge in a variety of activities, such as:

_trips to museums, cinemas and theatres
_outings, visits and picnics
_travel to festivals in the UK and abroad
_foreign group travel to places like Transylvania, New Orleans and Egypt
_visits to cities like Dublin and Edinburgh
_informative meetings
_oh, and BRILLIANT parties

When you join the LVG you will get:
_Three copies of the Chronicles magazine each year
_At least one Literary supplement - this is a collection of members' stories, prose,poetry, limericks, cartoons, photos and drawings
_Regular email bulletins containing news on what's happening
_A regular bulletin through the post
_Free entry to meetings of the London Vampyre Group and discounted entry to LVG special events
_Access to the LVG egroup on Yahoo!
_ and an annual membership card!

Joining the londonvampyre egroup

The egroup was initially set up to be a chat room for members of the LVG for discus-sions and announcements. Using Yahoo! we can also upload pictures, personal profiles and polls. Basically, what is said and what goes on is decided by members of the egroup, but there is a moderator to keep things in hand. To join this egroup you must be a paid up member of the London Vampyre Group, and the moderator will check this, plus you will have to regis-ter with Yahoo!

Serious stuff

The London Vampyre Group prides itself on being open and non secretive;and it holds its discussions and business in a trans-parent and organised way. A collection of meeting decisions and minutes can be seen on our documents page.
