Haze vs the X Factor -
Destiny & Desire:
My Enchantment with the Circus of Horrors.

Original Soundtrack from the Hit Show,
reviewed by Louis Ravensfield.

One of the most endearing and enjoyable qualities of going to see The Circus Of Horrors is the live music. Whilst HAZE VS THE X FACTOR have released previous tracks from the show on various formats, this full length studio, 12 track album marks the long overdue debut.

Having finally seen the light of the moon was it worth the wait? Well quite simply the answer is YES. All the songs are written by Haze, or the 'main man' in collaboration with others, with the exception of the 'Monster Mash/Munsters' theme. The album is full of energy and vigour, it shines with an obvious love for all that they do, and this is evident throughout - just like the live shows. Even if you have never seen the Circus Of Horrors Show (shame on you, if you haven't) this album still comes highly recommended.

At least if you buy it before seeing the show, the next time they're in town, you'll be able to tap your hoof - sorry, foot - and perhaps even sing along! "Destiny and Desire" also makes for a great party album, and since you never know when a hoard of Vampires may descend on your doorstep for a booze up and a knees up!!

Definite highlights on the album include 'the Web' and the really beautiful and emotive 'The Only Sure Thing' which is a masterpiece in its own right. Originality combined with a little Alice Cooper and more than a fair share of Vampires should be reason enough to purchase this.

The whole Circus Of Horrors Show, including Haze and the band are really committed and dedicated to what they do and we should actively support them in their endeavours. Buy this album - it's excellent, wear the T-Shirt - they're cool and go and see the show at your earliest opportunity. You will never be disappointed.
